ESPN CREW AT GBC! 

Chris Connolly of MTV and 20/20 fame, now with ESPN spent a few days at The Greensboro Batting Center, doing a story on longtime GBC kid, Shaquille Jacobs. Shaq is now an infielder at Grimsley High School getting ready to play his senior season. His dad, Kay told me he is off to NCA&T next year for college.

A few years ago Shaq was diagnosed with Leukemia but it has not slowed him down! His wish to ESPN was to meet Phillies star Jimmy Rollins which was GRANTED! Shaq is off to Clearwater, Fla. to meet his idol. Rumors say this episode will be airing on ESPN in June but we will keep everyone posted as soon as we find out for sure!
